Are you part of a not for profit organisation committed to keeping the community physically active? Do you need some money to help support your organisation? Crowdfunding could help.
Project Re-Boot: Activate
Crowdfunder and Sport Northern Ireland have teamed up to make £650,000 of match funding available to support the sport and physical activity sector through the ongoing coronavirus crisis and help sport in Northern Ireland Build Back Better!
If your sports club or community organisation has been adversely affected by the pandemic, and has a small to medium sport and physical activity project that will help you Build Back Better, you could be eligible to apply for up to £5,000 match funding.
As part of this programme, Crowdfunder is running a series of FREE online workshops to show sports clubs and organisations how crowdfunding can be an effective way to raise funds.
Eligible organisations could receive extra funding of up to £5,000 from Sport Northern Ireland when they crowdfund. To be eligible to apply, organisations must be:
A constituted sports club which is affiliated to a governing body of sport recognised by Sport NI, you can find the most recent list of recognised governing bodies on our website at http://www.sportni.net/performance/governing-bodies/recognition-of-governing-bodies.
A community/voluntary organisation sector organisation that delivers or enables sport and/or physical recreation as your primary activity. Sports and activities must be recognised by Sport NI.
