Run For Rosaleen

Please support the McNamee family

On September 11th 2019 our lives changed for ever when our mammy Rosaleen McNamee was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer stage 4, with very few symptoms. Mammy fought the best she could through Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy but she gained her wings on the 13th July 2020.

This month will see a year from we have lost one of the most important people in our lives. We have come together as a family along with many friends to raise as much money as we can for “care for cancer” Omagh.

Unfortunately we had another member of our family suffer from cancer at the same time as mammy. Statistics show that 1:2 of us will at some stage be diagnosed with cancer. Care For Cancer is a local charity for local people - Care For Cancer services - Transport to hospital apts, complementary therapies (for clients and carers), counselling (for clients and carers), bra fitting service, recliner chairs, drop in services, classes, courses and social activities - all these services are available to clients & carers within a 26 miles of the Omagh area. Telephone 02882 246599

For the Month of July together we are going to be doing 90k a day minimum, we will have many friends joining us every day to add to this tally!

Anyone can join us whether you Run or walk or crawl (which I will probably be doing at the end) all in aid of a great charity.
