A huge congratulations to Galbally Runner Richard Bradley who was third place in the 26 extreme Causeway coast Marathon that was ran on Saturday. The event, that is ran at the north coast, is truly iconic in the trail running world and has established itself as one of the top trail runs in the UK.Richard, who led the race until about the halfway point, completed the tough 26.2 miles in a time of 3 hours 38 minutes. Well done Richard and we know you enjoyed your Pizza after that.
Dungannon Parkrun

Well done also to Francis McVeigh, 26:26, Conáin McVeigh (29.15) and Caroline McElduff (30:12) who all had great runs at Dungannon Parkrun on a Saturday. It is great to see the youth out running these events and a credit to Conáin who is in the age 11-14 category. Well done also to Caroline who took part in her first Parkrun.
Dublin’s Vhi Women Mini Marathon

Emer Hand and Éadaoin McVeigh took on the Dublin’s Vhi Women Mini Marathon
Emer Hand and Éadaoin McVeigh took on the Dublin’s Vhi Women Mini Marathon (10K) on Sunday morning and got themselves two personal bests for their efforts. Emer knocked in a time of 53.49 whilst Éadaoin came home in 53:09. Well done ladies. All your work in training is paying off.
Training and Events
Club Training continues this Tuesday and Thursday evening at Galbally Community Centre at 7PM with Tuesday nights session being on the track Thursday the option of Track and road. We encourage all new to running to come along. It’s free, it’s fun and it’s good for you. Sunday morning training will commence at 8am and will be distances to suit everyone.
