Galbally Runners Club Notes 04 Jul 2021

Galbally 5 Mile/5K Event – Over £1000 in Prize Money

With less that 2 weeks to go to the big day (25 July 2021) for the Galbally Runners 5 Mile and 5K event we are pleased to announce that we will be offering over £1000 in prize money including overall winner and age categories as well £100 bonus for breaking the course record for the 5 mile event. These records are currently held by Eoin Hughes (26.30) and Louise Smith (31.05). Maybe Eoin and Louise will come back to try again or maybe others out there might fancy their chances of winning the money over this challenging course. The day of course is one of the best in the road racing calendar with excellent hospitality after the run. Hopefully we will see you there. The Online Registration is opened and is available from our website http://www.galballyrunners.com. Entries are going fast and may be limited with Covid restrictions so get signed up. It will, as always, be a smashing day. Proceeds for this event will go to the Eagles Special Olympic Club. Keep an eye out

on our Facebook page and website for further details.
