Galbally Runners Club Notes 04 Jul 2021

Couch to 5K Graduation

C25K Runners

Galbally Runners would like to congratulate all runners who had participated and completed their first 5K run last Wednesday evening. The same group of people started 9 weeks earlier and on evening one stood with their heads down and said things like ‘I’ll never do it’, ‘I’m the unfittest person you’ll meet’. However they done it and we are delighted for them all that they proved themselves wrong.

The 5K event started at Parkanaur, they headed for Castlecaulfield, past the

historic Caulfield Castle, up over a fairly large climb before heading back to Parkanaur on the Eskra Road. The runners took it all in their stride, chatted & smiled the whole way back to Parkanaur. We are so incredibly proud of what they all achieved that evening and we hope to see them all out with the main group soon. Well done to you all.

Kernan 5K and 10K Events
