BORN2RUN Events return with DAMBUSTERS

BORN2RUN Events Are delighted to announce they are back organising GREAT RACES IN

GREAT PLACES. Their last race took place in February 2021 so it’s been a long time coming

but they are back and their first event of the season is DAMBUSTERS 10 Mile, 10K & 5K

which will take place in The Silent Valley on August 14 th 2021.

“We are thrilled to be back up &; running, it’s been way too long and we’ve really missed

hosting our races and welcoming runners to our events. We can’t wait to see all the familiar

faces again on August 14 th for what will be a massive celebration of this return to running”

said Carol McMenamin PRO for BORN2RUN Events.

In previous years there was a half marathon but this has been replaced with a 10 mile race

in order to comply with Covid restrictions.

DAMBUSTERS is now open for entry and runners can choose their distance with a range of

options depending on their preference or level of fitness. There will also be a 10K walk for

those who prefer to take things at a gentler pace and take in the picturesque surroundings

of the Silent Valley and the beautiful backdrop of The Mournes.

In keeping with Athletics NI and Government guidelines, numbers will be limited to 500

participants. All entries will be online and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Entries are filling up fast so if you’re considering entering don’t hang about. Get entered
