Athletics NI Seek to Recruit CEO

Athletics Northern Ireland is the sport’s governing body for athletics in Northern Ireland. Together with our sister company, Mary Peters Track Ltd, we’re seeking to recruit a dynamic CEO to deliver on our vision for: A vibrant athletics community that inspires everyone to reach their full potential.

You will be an experienced, highly motivated and strategically minded individual capable of leading our organisation and sport. We are looking for someone who can truly inspire and influence, who lives our values and – supported by the senior management team - can lead our team to develop and deliver a new, post-pandemic strategy. Can you increase participation across all areas of our sport, develop the commercial potential of our competitions, represent Athletics NI with all stakeholders, the media and public? Are you a high achiever, performance driven with good analytical skills and decisive?

As a senior leader you will possess good people skills, have managed a budget of over £300,000 and delivered positive business outcomes in an environment with competing priorities. Have you corporate governance experience either as a board member or reporting to a board? Have you experience in sports administration and/or are you enthusiastic about sport and its potential to transform lives?
